Intention
Our Intention: we started Cocoa Café Ghana with the intention to grow into the Ghana Cocoa Café Academy.
Everything we sell – single‑origin cocoa products, African‑inspired kitchen textiles – exists to fund that goal. Every pouch, every apron, every mug is designed to be loved and used. And every purchase puts money toward a future where young Ghanaians learn practical skills: from farm to table, from processing to export, from financial literacy to small‑business management.
The Academy is not yet open. We are building it with every sale. When you buy from us, you are not just buying beautiful things. You are helping train the next generation of Ghanaian youth.

Mission
Our mission is simple: create beautiful products, train young people, build the Cocoa Academy.
Every item we sell – from single‑origin cocoa to African‑inspired kitchen textiles – does two things at once. It brings Ghanaian craftsmanship and flavour into your home. And it directs a portion of every sale toward a fund that will one day open the doors of the Cocoa Academy.
The Cocoa Academy is not yet open. We are building it with every order. When you buy from us, you are not just buying cocoa or an apron. You are helping construct a training centre that will teach young Ghanaians everything from farm to table: processing, quality control, branding, export logistics, financial literacy, and small‑business management.

The Cocoa Academy (Our Future Goal)
The Cocoa Academy is our flagship vision. Once funded, it will be a training centre open to young men and women from all backgrounds – not only cocoa‑growing families. We will teach the complete journey of the cocoa bean and the business skills to turn that knowledge into a livelihood.
Graduates will leave equipped to run their own cocoa‑related businesses, work in export or processing, or apply their entrepreneurial training to any field they choose.
But first, we need to build it. Every purchase you make lays a brick.
Who We Are
We are a small team based in Ghana, working with Ghanaian designers, packers, and logistics partners.
Our founder was born in the Caribbean, raised in Canada, and made the choice to repatriate to Ghana in 2010. What began as a personal journey became a commitment to Pan‑Africanism – a belief that building businesses, training youth, and creating opportunities on the continent is the work of this generation.
Cocoa Café Ghana is the expression of that commitment: a business built not just to sell, but to invest in Ghana's future.
